Diana is the Media and National Advocacy officer at CEDOVIP. Diana continues to motivate the team as a dependable person at CEDOVIP who takes personal interest in helping individuals pursue their objectives and interests. She is responsible for influencing the media to open discussions about VAW, POWER, rights and justice for women through print, electronic, and social media as well as working with editors, journalists. She is involved in all aspects of influencing policy and legal framework to effectively prevent and respond to VAW, and coordinates the Domestic Violence Act coalition.

Before joining CEDOVIP, Diana was the face of WBS TV Prime News for the last six years. She was the communications manager for Democracy Monitoring Group, a consortium of csos (ACFODE, TI, NDI, UJCC) monitoring 2011 Presidential Elections. She is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Human Rights from Makerere University and is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the same university. Diana is passionate about human rights and creating a safe environment for women and girls in Uganda!
