Upcoming Activities for Ministry Engagements and Community Trainings for Local Activism under WW2 Project

1. Three days fundamental training for the ministry official is scheduled for 11th –14th/Sept/2025 These trainings are under institutional pillar of WW2 project and they contribute to Strategic Area 2 of 2022-2026;( Promote dialogue and learning to create an empowering ecosystem) with specific activity of providing Technical Assistance to Government Departments with out come of; Partners integrate effective implementation of a comprehensive VAW risk mitigation and prevention strategy to ensure their project does no harm and reduces VAW.
2. The 1st week of September (2nd to 4th/Sept / 2025) there will be follow-up meeting with the Ministry officials. That still contributes to the same outcome of strategic plan 2022-2026.
3. Fundamental trainings for community facilitators and leaders are scheduled for last week of July 2025 both in Kasodo and Boliso1 sub counties in Pallisa. This addresses Strategic Area 1; (Inspire Activism and Advocacy to change social norms) with Community mobilisation pillar using SASA! Together approach with two strategies of local activism and community leadership strategies which contributes to reduced tolerance of VAW by community members and improved relationships between women and men.
