II. Inform CEDOVIP of any opportunity for engagement, policy review or influencing practice within JLOS in response to GBV.

III. To integrate GBV prevention and response work into the existing programs and activities of the respective departments

IV. Supporting staff of civil and criminal justice institutions to deepen knowledge of Gender Based Violence specific laws and network with organizations working to address Gender Based Violence

V. Foster Collaboration between civil and criminal justice institutions to respond to Gender Based Violence.

The partnership will ensure that both organizations jointly provide technical support to prosecutors in handling VAW/G cases, and CEDOVIP to be part of the task force providing technical support in the development of the prosecutors’ manual on handling GBV cases.

During the three day training for prosecutors and state attorneys held from 20th-23rd December, 2015 in Kampala, the Director of Public Prosecution His Lordship Mike Chibita officially opened the training drawing attention to the partnership and how it will benefit the institution.
